Coming in hot! See y’all at the conf! (Be friends with me bc I will have a car!)

I’m Emily-Kate “E-K” Crnko, cozy fantasy writer and aspiring author. I’m looking forward to meeting each of you at the 2026 conference. Warning: I will be highly caffeinated 😊 after my long drive from Louisiana, but… it will be worth it!

Is anyone else driving? I’d love to know: are there any other Southern writers heading up for this?
Feel free to reach out to me beforehand. I would love to know what you’re working on before we connect in person at the conference!

In case you’re curious about what I’m up to… I will put info about my two recent projects in the comments below:

1. THE TEACUP WARS: my debut cozy fantasy novel. Enchanted heirlooms, simmering feuds… and a grandmother with very sticky fingers. I would love feedback on my query letter (posted in the comments)

2. QUILL PRO QUO: a video podcast where authors and publishing talent meet through fun, low-pressure creative challenges. Authors bring real projects, and designers, editors, or narrators show how they'd approach them—so the audience can celebrate not only the final result, but the process as well. Want to get involved? Details are posted in the comments below.
