Intro 2026 - Peter Kong

Hi ya’ll -

Long time reader/listener. I self-published my first action/adventure/thriller just over a year ago, and learned a lot about delivery, graphic design, and advertising in the process.

I like talking & thinking about macro themes - sovereign debt cycles, declining empires, epistemic collapses - and sneaking them into my books where appropriate. Think Neal Stephenson with Snow Crash, or Herbert with Dune.

I look forward to talking with:

1. Anyone who is passionate about anything.
2. Tech people who want to collaborate on narrative-driven indie video games (I’m a software developer).

I’ve run several ad campaigns on X, Amazon, and Written Word. If you’ve read up on ads, but are scared to actually push the button, pull me aside and I’d be happy to help/encourage.

As a retired food critic, I’m looking forward to trying some new restaurants on Thursday and Friday night, as well as catching some live music and beer downtown.
