Introducing myself.

My name is Michael Curl and I am a historian/world traveler turned writer.

I am very friendly and will be in the area early (arrive on Wed.) and would love to meet up with anyone else there.

I studied military history with a focus on the middle ages, but also lived in the former soviet union for a time, and have three main writing interests:

Soviet Noire Fantasy

Classic Medieval Fantasy (focus on lances and knighthood)

Underwater Xenofiction (fishpeople, etc. highly developed world building labor of love that’s taken me literally years)

I want to get into more non-fiction, but don’t know how to go about doing that.

My main weakness is on the publishing/ platform building side.
