Polar Vortex update!

Hey, y’all! The Polar Vortex — the V-shaped zone of frigid weather that sometimes dips down into the middle of the U.S. from the arctic — is getting real:

The worst of it appears to be coming this weekend—whew! But it looks to be a balmy 4 or 5 degrees Fahrenheit on the day of my flight on Jan. 28. Who knows what the 1st of February will bring…
