Authors AI with Marlow Report

I tried this $30 one-time option on a third draft of a hard science fiction novella "The Eclipse of Thalasyx" to see if Authors AI with Marlow Report would be worth the subscription.

It was a good challenge for the AI tool as this story is not traditional. It wasn't like its learned samples. Authors AI has a nice interface and some built-in resources which I think writers with less than two years of experience or perhaps first-time writers might find useful. At book sixteen, I found it wasn't any more sophisticated than a solid prompt on ChatGPT or Claude AI.

Think of ordering your favorite veal parmigiana from your three favorite restaurants. I am sure that they each have their own family sauce, but, hey, it's veal parmigiana. Too close to dinner to write this, I suspect. It sounds good, but there's still something missing from Authors AI with Marlow, and it might be the sauce. Everything else looks good, and there is substance there.

Next year, I might try again, but for now it needs time to mature. I would recommend a monthly subscription to ChatGPT or Claude, which is more versatile and just as good with a well-designed prompt.
