Character Compendium: Impressed

I ran my book through the Character Compendium a few months ago. I got a good list. But it combined characters with the same names (the bane of Biblical Fiction - did you know in the 1st century Israel, 40% of women were either named Mary or Salome?)

I reran it today because Thomas said he updated the tool to include the minor characters. It picked up ‘Uncle Joel’ who died 30 years before the story started and only appears as an ideal to live up to. And it sorted out all the Jameses and Marys.

Then the site went down for maintenance, and I hadn’t copied the compendium, so here I sit, waiting to be able to reload it and continue being amazed.
