Claude adds Text Watermarks

Looks like Claude will weave a watermark into text generated by all new models and older models will be retrofitted to support this.

not sure what to think of it, but take a gander…

My guess is signals like these will become the de facto approach for publishers and will either change the way current AI detection tools work, or eliminate them if other AI companies follow suit.
