How should a non author use ai to write a short book?

I am not an author (I edit the podcast that’s why I’m here) but I have something to say. I was thinking I might write bullet points of my ideas, then put those into Grok, then remake what I get out of Grok so I’m not looking at a blank page.

Is this even worth trying? Has anyone tried something similar and have advice on how to do this well?
