Jane Bot Version 2

Jane Bot and Twain Bot started out as an experiment. Could I create a bot that gave feedback in the style of Jane Austen or Mark Twain.

Jane Bot has Jane Austen’s writings and public domain biographies, Wikipedia, and Grokipedia page all loaded into the RAG memory for the tool.

If you’re not familiar with how RAG works, imagine that the bot reads every book Jane Austen has ever written before answering your question. This is the same technology behind AI Thomas. I then use special prompting to get it to match her writing style.

All of that was in v1. Now let’s talk about the improvements to v2.

I just did a massive upgrade to Jane Bot.

• It runs on a better newer LLM model.

• It can read your whole manuscript, not just a scene.

• It can keep up better with follow up questions and long conversations.

Depending on how this goes, I will make a similar upgrade to Twainbot. So please test it out and let me know what you think.

Also with this new system, I’m more likely to make other bots like this in the future. For legal reasons I want to go with authors who died before 1929.
