New Tool: Copyright Troll Defender

I really hate trolls. And this week I got hit by yet another troll demand letter. They messed with the wrong Texan. And I’m arming up a posey to take these trolls down.

Which is why I’m excited to announce Copyright Troll Defender.

If you run an author website, copyright trolls will eventually find you. Automated bots scan your blog for images, then companies send scary emails demanding $750 to $20,000 per photo. They cite $150,000 in statutory damages. They set fake deadlines. They include a link to a "Resolution Center" that is really just a payment portal.

Most authors pay out of fear. You don't have to.

Troll Defender analyzes the demand letter, assesses how serious the threat actually is, and drafts a professional response email you can send today. The email demands proof of copyright registration, chain of title, and actual damages. It admits nothing. It offers nothing. It puts the burden entirely on the troll.

In most cases, one email is all it takes. The troll goes silent and moves on to easier prey.

If the troll writes back, use the tool again. Paste the full exchange and get an updated defense plan. The tool adapts to each round, including building fair use arguments when the situation calls for it.

I built this tool from personal experience. I have been attacked by copyright trolls from Germany, Canada, and the U.S. I have never paid one. Every defense in this tool has been tested against real trolls and real demand letters.

If you have already been hit by a copyright troll, try it today. If you haven't been hit yet, bookmark it. Your turn is coming.
