Remotion and Hyperframes are a game changer for video editing and animations from text
I was just messing around with claude code this morning getting ready to do some filming stuff and I decided to see if remotion could handle doing an animated logo reveal.
I gave it this simple prompt and put my basic logo into the file claude had access to:
Create an animate logo reveal in the screen 16:9 aspect ratio that starts where the logo is not showing, then there's a particle explosion and then the attached logo is formed from the particles that exploded, keep the background a pure white and the logo purely the colour #880001. Use the Remotion Best Practices. The logo image is in the claude random folder.
Here’s the video it gave me five minutes later:
(There’s a little to be wanted with the chrispyness of the logo itself, but I didn’t give claude a very good version of it in the first place. Also keep in mind it did all of this without ffmpeg, which is wild!)
All of this makes me really optemistic.
One of the things I hate the most about trying to do anything with video marketing (instagram, youtube, tiktok) is not the filming but the endless editing and creation of the animations I want.
For me I just want to be able to shoot a weekly update and create a skill that runs through the entire process for me, giving me the floating “bing” progress ring where needed, adding some branded animations, then giving it to me essentially ready for upload.
Thanks to fable 5 now being back I think I should be able to make this workflow very very soon. I will try to keep anyone interested up to date.
Blessings!
