"What Makes this Inferior?"

For those of you who are not on X, something went viral on Thursday and is STILL viral right now. The last time I saw something hold the Internet’s attention for this long it was Chuck Norris’ death. (RIP)

Someone posted this:

Stare at it for a second.

Thousands of people responded. The catch? This painting is a real Monet. JUST SAYING IT WAS AI WAS ENOUGH TO MAKE ALMOST ALL THE RESPONDENTS CRITICIZE IT.

This is a real Monet. One of the Impressionist masters. The proper framing of a question, the right juxtaposition, and almost everyone accepted this as AI and dissed it accordingly.
