College senior Kessa Tyler is facing her first Christmas apart from her missionary family. When she finds the perfect dress for the Christmas concert, it leads to pulling a prank on her relentlessly matchmaking aunt. Armed with a fake ring and a fictional fiancé, Kessa is ready for a fun holiday. However, nothing goes according to plan. As the prank-gone-wrong continues to cause ripple effects, she discovers surprising things about herself, her aunt, and the handsome neighbor who comes to her aid. Ultimately, only God can untangle the mess and give her the Christmas gifts she truly needs…with a little help from the dress.

“I loved this book! It was such a funny, heartwarming, and inspiring read—it checked all the boxes I look for in a cozy Christmas book! I’m definitely going to recommend it for book clubs during the holiday season, but it’d be a fun read any time of year. The characters are authentic, and the plot twist was a fun surprise. I highly recommend it!” –Terry H.
