Eat That Frog!

Hey friends! I’m in the middle of Eat That Frog! by Brian Tracy. I ordered a paperback as opposed to my usual method of reading on Kindle. Glad I did! A book in my hands feels less like a job to do and more like pleasure reading.

So far, Frog is easy and breezy. The chapters are short and to the point. I like the challenges at the end of each one. My favorite quote so far: “An average plan vigorously excecuted is far better than a brilliant plan on which nothing is done.”

Before I started reading, I had just embarked a new round of goal setting, prompted, probably, by the new set of challenges in Y2 of the 5 Year Plan. So I’m coming into the book not sure if it can add to the routine I’ve just created. But with 21 key principles, I’m pretty sure it will.

By the way, I highly recommend getting the Habit Share app. It’s a wonderful way to set daily, weekly, and monthly goals, share them with friends, and encourage each other. Plus you get to put a checkmark by the goals you accomplish each day. Embarrassingly effective!

What are your thoughts on the book? What is your favorite principle?
