Month 1 Yr 1 James Scott Bell book

I did it! I wrote a short story with a shattering moment. Without Bell’s book, I don’t think I would have understood the importance of having that one moment on which the entire story hinges. For mine, it’s a tunnel collapse. The short story begins after the collapse but then relives it.

I was disappointed that all Bell’s examples (well, it seemed like all of them) came from stories with depressing endings. But I’m glad I read it. On to book two for month two.
