Y1M1 Homework

I loved James Scott Bell’s book. The simplicity of writing about the fallout from a shattering moment helped me to write my first short story: one with emotional impact.

O. Henry’s short story, The Last Leaf, was my favorite of the stories Bell included in the book. It hit home with Bell’s point about creating emotional impact in your story. That principle will stick with me.

I’m glad I decided to take this course. 🙂 Now, on to month two . . .
