Y1M3 - Elements of Style

Somehow I have managed not to read this book before now. I’ve read several other style guides, grammar books, and craft books, but this was my first time reading through The Elements of Style.

It seems like a handy dandy little quick guide for several elements. It was encouraging to see that several of the rules are ones I do practice regularly. Admittedly, there were a few points I disagreed with, and a few that seemed more like opinion than correct/incorrect principles. I did enjoy the little bit of sass in some of the explanations. Strunk seems like he’d have been a hoot.

As there weren’t any particular exercises to complete or story prompts, I’ll just be writing a normal short story to complete the M3 assignments.

Yay for finishing Q1 - a little late, but I’m getting caught up!
