Y1M4 Write Your First Novel

I started this book at the beginning of April, and I finished it yesterday.

I don’t know if it was the book, me, or just April/May (four of the past six weeks, I’ve worked over 30 hours in my part-time job. Last week neared 60. Plus, we’re headed deep into a home remodel.) I could not process the words on the page. There’s no audiobook, so I ended up buying the ebook and having Kindle read it to me (recommended for only the most desperate of souls)

Nothing life-changing there, except to reinforce my disdain for romance novels. This week looks quieter, so I’m planning to go back and work on the exercises.

It’s probably a great book for beginning authors, which I’m not. Even when I’m reviewing foundational information - which it’s good to do every once in a while - I usually can mine a few nuggets. I just couldn’t with this one.
