Book launch and Collaboration

The second book in my Restorationists series, Between Flowers and Bones, launched yesterday.

I hadn’t had a chance to do as much as I’d like for it, since I was focused on launching my oldest child to college, but @Thomas Umstattd Jr.’ s recent episode about Using Research to Market Your Book gave me an idea!

My local art museum, The McNay, is a location in the book. I reached out to ask permission to record a brief behind the scenes there, and it turned into a big collaboration which they filmed and produced! And they now plan to carry my book in their bookstore!

This is a HUGE win for me, and I wouldn’t have thought about it if not for the podcast, so thank you, Thomas! (And congrats on the baby girl!)
