Celebrating website upgrade to Divi

I’m celebrating! I completed the “How to Make Your Author Website Amazing” section of Obscure No More. I have converted my wordpress site to Divi. I have upgraded all the major pages (but not the single blog posts). There’s still more work to do and lots more content to add and improve, but the bones are there.

For those who are curious, I did not use a premade Divi theme. Instead I found templates for the major page types I have and customized them to like colors, etc. Divi made it surprisingly easy. When google failed me, chatting with help answered my questions fairly quickly.

But disclaimer, I’ve worked with wordpress since 2011, and I’m a “swashbuckler” when it comes to pressing all the buttons and trying things out.
