Over 100 subscribers in first 3 days

I launched my newsletter three days ago and now I have over 120 subscribers. A well-known author I connected with recently promoted it in her newsletter today, and about half of them so far are because of that. 

The purpose of my newsletter is to build an audience for the picture book I'm working on self-publishing, called How to Pet a Porcupine. The reader magnet is the story with an illustration.

The quest to pet a porcupine may involve cookies, space suits, and time machines.
