Personal Milestone towards getting published hit!

This week I hit a personal milestone I didn’t think I’d ever hit that now makes publishing seem like an actual possibility. I just wrote a short story that came together so well. While it still needs work(editing is forever the bane haha) it is the cleanest first draft I’ve ever written with great characters, and an over all fun story but most importantly for me its a story a reader can enjoy.

I’ve struggled shifting from writing for myself to writing for an audience and I feel like I’ve just taken a huge step forward in getting to the right place in my journey where I can start pushing for longer stories, so I can publish those novels stuck in my head. It’s something that has felt so unattainable for so long. Like i was missing pieces to a puzzle I couldn’t even really see but a huge chunk just became crystal clear. I still have so much to learn but now….now I feel like this may actually become a reality and not just a pipe dream.

I just had to share this progress with a group of people that would understand!
