Release Day for the Final Book in an EPIC Trilogy!
In 2022, historical fiction author Jenny L. Cote started Virtual Epic Patriot Camp, an online writing camp where kids could become AUTHORS over four weeks during the summer.
In 2024, she reached out to two of the veteran campers, seeing if they would be willing to take up the honor of hosting Epic Patriot Camp.
And so, in 2025, I was a co-host for Epic Patriot Camp, and now, today, the third book in the revolutionary trilogy, The Epic Story of America, released on Amazon!! Here’s the blurb and link to the book!
The Epic Story of America: 1780–1783: Independence; as told by America's next generation.
Historical fiction authors Christopher J. Watt and Ella Quill hosted the 2025 Epic Patriot Camp reunion with camper alumni from across multiple states, D.C. and one from Australia. Each of them returned once again to assume the identity of and research a Patriot, British Loyalist or French Sympathizer who significantly impacted the Revolution as the fight for independence comes to its epic conclusion.
The point of camp is to encourage the next generation to learn America’s epic history and to tell the story for generations to come. We taught them how crucial it is to get the research right, and to thoroughly study the good, the bad, and the ugly of history. In a collection of chapters written from the perspectives of 1780's greatest figures of the American Revolution, twelve young authors bring history to life by relaying the facts with fictional fun.
This is their story, told in their words.
