Selah award!!!

I won a Selah award in the middle grade category!!

It was so cool how God provided that I could be there (my teens were at an event 10 minutes away. We arrived just a couple hours before the awards ceremony).

I thought I wouldn't know anyone there, but Monday, I got a text from @Kara Swanson (who I met at the Novel Marketing Conference) asking if I was at the conference because my name had just been called for a door prize! Of course I wasn't at the conference, but now I knew I had someone to sit with. Kara took some great photos/videos of my reaction, and it was fun to catch up.

I've been a finalist for several awards, but this is my first real win 😊
