I am trying to accomplish a few things and could use your help. My new book has just launched and I want to get the word out so more kids in the world have more resources. This book, Bubbles, Balloons and Birds: Learning to Thrive-Helping Kids Cope with Adversity was translated into Ukrainian and donated by me and distributed by Sean Penn’s global humanitarian organization CORE to children who have fled the conflict. I recently visited the children and adolescents in Poland and they told me that the book made them “feel more undertood and less alone.” I want to be able to provide this same experience for children in the United States. This is why I am writing to you. If you purchase a book this weekend, I will donate a book to a child in need. These books are meant to be read as a family and to help facilitate sometimes difficult conversations. Below are some snippets from my book series to give you a better idea of what they are about.
