Looking for Launch Team Members and Blog Post Swap–Nonfiction
I have a Christian Living book and companion journal coming out on February 18, and I need your help! So far my introverted, love-my-small-group-of-friends self has discovered the challenges that having a small circle can pose for a book launch, so if you see value in this project (descriptions are below), I would love for you to join my launch team! If you have any questions about the project or are interested, please shoot me a message. The quickest way to contact me is through email because my devices don’t always like sending me Author Media notifications: hholloway2128@gmail.com.
I also write a devotional blog each week and would love to do a blog swap to help us build our audiences. The theme for my blog is diligently seeking God, so I write about what I learn and discover as I seek God each week.
Practicing Swordplay: Intentionally Combating the Lies of the Enemy
“I’m worthless. I’m all alone. There’s no hope.” The enemy of your soul uses lies like these to keep you from the fulfilling relationships with God and others you were designed for. The good news is God has provided a weapon you can use to fight back, reclaim your joy, and walk in abundant life.
In Practicing Swordplay, Haley V. Craft provides a three-step process for combating specific lies of the enemy. She also includes twelve practical strategies for recognizing these lies and replacing them with God’s truth. As she shares from her personal experiences and psychological research, you’ll discover how God’s Word can be powerful and relevant in your daily life.
This practical guide will equip you to recognize the enemy’s attacks against your heart and mind and to intentionally and confidently use Scripture to live as the victor you are in Christ.
The Armory Scripture Journal
Spending time with Jesus in Scripture can be a wonderful, life-giving experience. However, at times it can also feel daunting or overwhelming. Where do you start? How do you apply what you learn? The Armory Scripture Journal, the companion journal to Practicing Swordplay will help guide you as you draw near to God through His Word.
This journal provides both structure and flexibility through three guided sections:
*For Study–A place to record inspiring or intriguing passages of Scripture, explore their context, and consider what God is speaking to you through them.
*For Action–A place to reflect on what God is calling you to do as you study His Word and then choose an action step.
*For Battle–Here you can collect and meditate on passages that speak to your unique struggles and help you be better prepared for the battle against the enemy’s lies when it comes.
**Special shoutout to Joanna K. Harris for helping with the copy! I loved working with her!
