Requesting short story feedback

In month five of the 5YP, Jim asks us to send out our short story to this awesome community for feedback.

So here we go!

For context: this short story is meant for fans of Piranesi and Chronicles of Narnia. My Timothy grew up enjoying the latter. He liked my story, but I would love to hear your thoughts as well! Thanks in advance for those of you who partake.

Pitch: An old man sails for the moon to rekindle a lost love, only to learn what he must give up to be with her again.
