Ball park figure for developmental editing and line editing

Hey Everyone,

My editor has given up editing to write more and so now I’m looking for an editor for developmental and line editing. It’s a Christian romance around 88 000 words. I got a quote from one person and I wanted to ask what‘s a ball park figure for content and line editing? I’m also Canadian so part of my frustration is adding 30% with the exchange rate. 😳 That’s just how it is and yes, I’m looking for a Canadian editor but surprisingly there aren’t many. Most writers have recommended US editors. My previous editor is a friend and gave me a fantastic rate.
