Feedback on flash fiction?

Lately I’ve been struggling with perfectionism, and my dad pointed out that I’m biased when it comes to my own work. I’ve self-published two novels (neither with paid professional editing, although I had an editor friend beta-read one) and received generally positive feedback, but it’s tempting to disregard that because those people aren’t professionals, don’t want to hurt my feelings, etc.

Anyway, I was wondering if anyone on here would be willing to read a recent flash fiction I wrote (1000 words) to share their feedback. My opinion on it is that it’s pretty good, but not amazing and definitely rough in spots, and I’d love to know how accurate that perception is.
