How to Write Christian nonfiction that Men Want to Read???
I just finished listening to the episode on how to write novels that men want to read. It was very interesting. Now, I have a question. I can anticipate Thomas telling me to find my Timothy. That’s easier said than done. I want my nonfiction book on praying Scripture to appeal to men and women. I can’ t really apply anything about the Romans to the book, except maybe once in passing. If men want things, and women want relationships, that makes my book project harder. I liked the magazine Discipleship Journal, and I once read in it that it was mostly read by women in their forties. I have yet to figure out how to apply that, but it does make me wonder if I need to orient my book more towards women. THat’s not easy. Most of the prayers in the Bible are from men. Any suggestions? I have also read that there are more committed Christian females than committed Christian males. I’m not sure what to do with that bit of data. Thanks.
