Jumping back into 5 year course with a twist

Well, I got off track of the 5 year course when I did the Booklaunch Blueprint course and had trouble getting back into it though I have been keeping up with the reading. Anyway, I am back to finishing the 5 year course—3rd quarter, year one. This section wanted 3 short stories. I have actually used this assignment for my new subscribers and current email list. My formula is to write short stories of scenes in my first two books, however, from a point of view that is different from that in the books. If they read the first two books, they would be familiar witht the scene, but now in the “head” of another character. This is good for new subscribers to experience a taste of my writing for free. I pitch them to buy my book after they get the 4th free short story. I have actually sold some books this way. I plan to do about 3-4 short stories a year using the same formula and maybe compile them into a book some day.
