ProWritingAid Vs Not a Developmental Editor

I’m done noodling with my novel, and it’s time to get new eyes on it. I am both an AM patron and I have ProWritingAid. I want to run my manuscript through one or both before handing the story off to beta readers.
I remember Thomas saying that PWA is not really a Dev Ed helper, but could someone explain the pros and cons of each for me?
I can certainly run it through both, but there’s such a thing as too much input that will only slow me down in getting it to human feedback.
I appreciate any thoughts. Thanks!
