Sequencing: Vellum before or after Copyedit?

My book goes to copy editor early January. It’s basically ready to go: Scrivener → Word. But I know it has some formatting issues. (Scrivener…sigh…) I’ve been planning to handle them after the copy edit - in Vellum. Now I’m wondering whether I should work through those in Vellum, then have it copy edited: Scrivener →Vellum→Word→Copyedit→Review/Accept→Vellum.

What are the pros/cons of this? Better to just wait? Or give her the better formatted version?
