If you are new to writing fiction, this post is for you.

After forty years in corporate America writing business related proposals, reports and documentation, and twenty years writing or adapting Sunday School courses, I received a call to pursue the dream I’ve had since high School to write fiction. My purpose is to speak into the lives of those God wants me to reach. It’s all for Him and my “Timothy.”

It’s taken a few months to get the “I’m writing what I want to write for me” out of my system. I’ve worked through the angst and disappointment of the command to not publish your first book first 😞. Attended the 2025 Novel Marketing Conf and met many great authors and learned wonderful marketing approaches and options.

I’ve also learned the more I think I know about the business of writing, the more I don’t know. Especially about the craft of writing.

I was hesitant about signing up for this course, but I’ve taken the plunge because frankly it’s one of the best value’s out there for those of us who need to improve our craft.
