When you get edits back and feel overwhelmed...
I found this podcast episode really helpful. She said many of the things I tell authors when working with them. Such as:
"Your editor is not trying to make you stop writing. Your editor is trying to help you make your book better." π
Itβs not easy getting those edits back, but she shared 3 practical tips to help writers work through them.
1. Don't panic. (Or prepare yourself for the panic.)
2. Take it at your own pace.
3. Celebrate the good things.
Anyway, I just wanted to share this episode for anyone needing encouragement as they work through editor feedback. π
