Amazon pulled my book.

I published my book on Amazon 4 years ago and have no trouble in all that time. Today I got an email that it isn’t currently available “due to Interior contains unembedded fonts and is causing an issue in manufacturing. Until these issues are resolved, they've placed your book on a printing hold.”

The writing in that email is bad enough that I went to the source to check and make sure it was legit. It is.

The problem seems to be that I did the book using Google slides. It must be some new update Amazon has done that made them decide they don’t like that anymore. The book has been printing without issue until now. My biggest concern is that I have just finished a second book using the same Google slides. My husband said he wouldn’t rule out having to completely retype the whole thing. I’m hoping he was being a bit pessimistic and grouchy when he threatened that ;)

Two books to completely redo means twice the fun!

Luckily my husband is a tech guy. Without him I would never be able to do any of this. Not really looking for help, although if anyone else is having this same problem I’d love to hear what they’re doing about it. This one is going to be fun to get fixed.
