Amazon review taking forever to show up

A week ago today, I posted a review on Amazon for an ARC for a friend. The book only has about 10 reviews currently.

When I submitted the review, a pop-up appeared saying it might take a few hours to a few days for the review to start showing. I didn’t think much of that because I’ve submitted reviews in the past and they typically appeared the same day.

Well, it’s been a full week and my review is still not showing. This author just published the book last month, so reviews are going to help, so I’m not sure why Amazon is waiting so long.

Just an FYI for anyone else here who may think your ARC readers are not reviewing in a timely manner.
