I want to share the business that I just launched.
Introducing Hairy Feet Websites. Yes, it's a Tolkien thing. And yes, I am unfortunately that guy.
I've been building websites since I was 12, but I only recently started asking myself why author websites cost so much when most of us are scraping together every dollar to fund a cover, an editor, and a launch.
It didn't sit right with me. I know plenty of authors who never get a website because they don't want to learn how, or can't justify the cost.
So I built something priced for people like us.

I've also built tools specifically for authors, KickFlip (a Kickstarter planner) and AuthorBooks (an author focused budget and royalty tracker), so I'm not coming at this from the outside. So I’ve lived in this world the same as you.
