AuthorXP giveaway stats

Could someone look at my stats from a recent AuthorXP giveaway and tell me if they’re good, bad, or normal? Is this a good open rate, or do I need to adjust something?

I participated in an AuthorsXP Christian fiction giveaway in the second week of April. From that promotion, I got 419 email addresses, about 25 of which were already on my list. I split the remainder into three smaller groups, 200, 100 and 100 (approximately).

My goal was to get those email addresses to download my lead magnet and become fans. Each of the three groups received a slightly different automation sequence of three emails. In the screenshot below, one group has gotten two emails, the other two groups have only gotten their first email.

So far, the number of unsubscribes has been roughly equal to the number of downloads.

my automation is set to automatically unsubscribe anyone who doesn’t open any of the emails in the welcome sequence. Is this a dumb idea or not?
