Book Club Interest in my book

My book is releasing 10/22. A member of my launch team has let me know her book club has expressed interest in it. This is my debut novel and I did not prepare for this possibility. I’m sort of embarrassed to admit I’ve never participated in a book club. Feedback anyone? As an author, what part do or can we play? I’ve read books with study questions, I’m just realizing that was probably what they were intended for.
