Book recommendation for all my NaNoWriMo Writers out there!
National Novel Writing Month is just around the corner (already !!), and although I’m still on the fence about whether I’ll actually do it this year, I do have a book recommendation for anyone who’s planning to participate, especially if it’s your first time. I’ve done it a couple times before, but last Christmas I was gifted a book called No Plot? No Problem! and it’s aimed at NaNoWriMo writers—and it’s written by the guy who invented the whole thing. It’s really fun and inspiring, plus it’s got lots of pep talks from folks who’ve been through it. It’s not the newest book on the planet—I have the 2nd edition which was published in 2014, which feels like forever ago, but the info and ideas hold up pretty well.
In case anyone’s wondering, I’m not affiliated with this book or author or anything, I just really genuinely enjoyed it! (I mean, it managed to keep my ADHD brain entertained, so… what other proof do you need?)
If anyone out there is gearing up for NaNo this year, this could be something to consider! I’ll link to the Amazon page here. (At the time of me writing this, the paperback is just under $12.)
