Cal Newport: On Slow Writing

Cal Newport recently posted an interesting article on the idea of quality over quantity in writing. It’s mainly a short commentary on someone else’s essay (that essay is also interesting, although it includes some obscenity and I disagree strongly with the writer’s moral beliefs as expressed in some of his other work). Newport’s summary has some valuable application, I think, to the rapid-release strategy and also to constant short social media posts versus more long-form content marketing.
