Christmas Present gift ideas

I need book recommendations from you because I am super last-minute on gifts. I know that we have a ton of great speculative fiction authors here, and I am looking for a novel or two for my college-age son who likes Brandon Sanderson and everything CS Lewis. Can you name your favorite spec fiction from the last few years (preferably a Christian or clean author)?

Thanks!
