Disclosure Day?

I haven’t seen Spielberg's new film- Disclosure Day, but the premise is that all kinds of supernatural acts within the Christian faith can/are attributed to aliens, and then certain Christian circles saying any 'alien' is just a demon...

How would/could we navigate this as Christian sci-fi/fantasy authors?

How can we write our stories without the secular and Christian circles attributing any story that has aliens/non-human characters in our stories to the demonic? Do we carry the responsibility as Christian authors to not lead our readers ‘astray’ into things not of God?

Gah… I know it’s a loaded question, but one that has been really weighing on myself and husband, who is an artist, and who now believes we can’t write/publish our stories/art.
