Don’t be afraid to go slow

This is a message to myself but I thought some others may need to hear it. I love this community and it’s so motivating but there are times when I’m watching the YouTube’s and even some of the stuff on here and im like “Oh no! I’m behind. Oh goodness I’m never gonna get this done. I gotta hurry!” But i have to sit down and say “slow is smooth, smooth is fast,” as I learned so long ago. I’m consciously taking the time to learn my craft. To study. To practice. And in the last year of me intentionally trying to fill in gaps in my knowledge and ability I can already see MAJOR improvements in my own writing. It’s worth the wait, even if it feels like I’m missing the boat. It’ll be worth it in the end to go slow and learn, and especially gain confidence so that when things do go wrong hopefully it’s not quite such a catastrophe.

In any case slow is smooth, smooth is fast. Stay frosty my friends and enjoy the journey!
