Editing

hello author people.

Before I go back to the drawing board on Reedsy I thought I check here for any recommendations.

We need to find someone who’s creative minded for a substantive/developmental edit for a youth fiction series.

I’d love to find someone who’s willing to do a hybrid with the copy editing too.

This will be a long term relationship for the right editor. We’re in our third book with our inspirational/nonfiction editor and already have book four lined up for him next.

This series will be at least 10 books so we hope to build a relationship with someone rather than just hire it out randomly.

Anyone willing to share contact info for a good rec?

**I’ve come to more clarity on this request - this project is NEXT. We are working on lining things up for it, but aren’t actively ready to hire someone and get started. We are full throttle with a seasonal book we’re hoping to go live with yet this year. As for this fiction one, we are currently on another internal pass so it’s not quite ready yet. So between the seasonal book, our internal editing and, sadly, funding, it realistically won’t be ready for dev ed until late this year or early next**
