Facebook warnings?

Has anyone been getting a warning through Facebook saying that your site has “trademark violations” and will be shut down? They give a link to appeal the decision. I got two of these but didn’t see them until a month or so later. The messages come thru Messenger, which in itself is suspect. Then they warn that the site will be shut down within a certain time frame. Then it wasn’t shut down, but another warning came a month later. My sense is that this is a scam, but not sure. Has anyone experienced this? thanks.
