Gmail 's POP feature going away?

I discovered this today, which will affect authors who are using gmail’s POP service to pull emails from a webhost/domain name to their gmail.

According to some research, their IMAP feature still collects and delivers email. Automatic forwarding can also be set up via the original webhost email. But, depending on how your email is set up, this might be something to shift or pay attention to in a few weeks. (I’m pretty sure my connection is set up via IMAP, but I’ll be testing it on January 1st to make sure it works).
