Google Docs: to turn any content into audio!

Wow! If you haven’t tried Google Docs’ text-to-speech / read-aloud feature in the last 6 months, do it. Do it Now! I was shocked this morning by how sophisticated and expressive the free AI narration has gotten. You can dump any text in and essentially have pretty professional audio instantly.

We can drown in words if we’re not careful: a chapter revision, beta reads, another chapter revision, craft articles, submissions from writing groups, yet another chapter revision, a submission from a critique partner… ANOTHER CHAPTER REVISION😅 I can’t always physically sit and read all of it, and honestly, so much sitting is unhealthy—so I’m always looking for ways to LISTEN (when it’s appropriate).

Being able to simply copy and paste and listen while I water plants? INVALUABLE.
