Help Requested with Audio Narration--Resolved

I’m needing some advice/help so that I can finally upload my audiobook.

After my narrator ($225 a recorded hour) completed my novel, she sent me the files to listen to for errors. She said she would correct only her errors in reading or sound engineer errors. There were about 60 such errors. She will fix these.

But as I listened, I realized I needed to make some small tweaks to the text—for example, I had written the word “wasn’t” when it should have said “was.” It was only in hearing the audiobook that I caught that and other similarly small but important swaps.

I told my narrator that since these were my errors in the text (about 20 of them), I would pay her to fix them. She flat out refused.

In addition, she gave a minor character an accent (not sure what it was—Mexican? Irish?). He appears in about 8 pages total. When she first sent the samples of the character voices, she did not include him, so I asked her to send a sample. She said she didn’t need to because he had little to say and she had it figured out. What she figured out—wrongly—is that because he had a Mexican name, he had to be Spanish speaking.

She refuses to re-record his sentences, saying it’s her artistic license to do as she pleases.

I have paid her the total amount and own the rights to the audiobook. But how do I fix the 20 errors and re-record the one character’s voice correctly? Is anyone out there willing to take this project on? Should I see if AI can replicate her voice for the 20 word swaps and the dialog of the minor character? Does such an AI program exist? @Thomas Umstattd Jr., is this an AI tool you can develop?

And yes, it’s been a learning experience for sure. She came recommended by a Christian author, but boy oh boy, I would never recommend her now.
